Apollo's Fund

Apollo's Fund was established in 2016 to help One Love Pit Bull Foundation provide medical treatment to Apollo and other deserving shelter dogs!

Apollo's Story

Sometimes really unfair situations arise at the most opportune moments. Apollo was brought into Detroit Animal Care and Control in early November with severe bite trauma while the One Love board members were there volunteering and studying Bark Nation's shelter enrichment programs.   

​

Our crews immediately fell in love and sprang into action. After receiving some much needed medical care, Apollo was transported across the country to begin his journey and find his forever.  This little guy is resilient.  He will require additional surgeries and medical attention, but his spirit remains strong.  Please consider making a donation towards his care! Any funds not used by Apollo will remain in his fund and be used to provide medical care to other shelter dogs in need.
