Lindsey Blazevich, Co-Founder and President
Lindsey Blazevich co-founded One Love in 2014 and brings 10 years of experience rescuing and rehabilitating pit bull type dogs, volunteering in local shelters, implementing spay/neuter programs in impoverished communities, lobbying for humane legislation and offering assistance to pet owners through shelter intervention and prevention programs. In addition to overseeing One Love's operations, she is the creator of the Shelter Dog Program and strives to implement life-saving programs at our municipal shelters. Lindsey regularly visits shelters across the United States in an ongoing effort to network, learn and grow.
Lindsey and her husband Chris recently welcomed twin baby girls and have two amazing shelter dogs that they adopted from Maricopa County Animal Care- Ezra ("Eazy E") and Maya ("Boss Dog"). She also works as a local Real Estate Agent and brings 14 years of legal experience to the organization.
Katie Ward, CPDT-KA, Co-Founder
Katie Ward co-founded One Love with Lindsey in 2014 with a solid mission - to create a community around pit bull type dogs, advocate for them and get them adopted. Katie is the amazing artist behind One Love's merchandise, the photographer behind our first calendars, trainer of shelter dogs and all around amazing human. She moved to Colorado in 2017, but she'll always be an important part of this organization. To this day, Katie has worked tirelessly for this mission and has made a huge impact for shelter dogs.
Katie and her fiance Cody now live in Dolores, Co with their pups Dexter (original One Love Mascot) and Benny.
